Two Turkish troops killed after mine blast

Two Turkish specialized sergeants were killed while another one was wounded in a mine blast that took place at the Hakkari-Van highway on Monday.

HAKKARI- Sources told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that a mine, planted by PKK terrorists, got detonated while a military armored vehicle was on routine duty earlier in the day.

Following the mine blast, the armored vehicle went off the road and two specialized sergeants died at the scene.

Turkish security forces began an operation in the region to find and arrest those PKK terrorists responsible for the mine blast.
