Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday met with Myanmar's opposition leader and Nobel Peace laureate Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar's capital Naypyidaw.
NAYPYIDAW- The meeting was held in Kyi's house and Davutoglu invited her to Turkey to participate in an academic event.
Davutoglu told Kyi that he was in Myanmar to oversee the distribution of Turkish humanitarian aid to Arakan's Rohingya Muslims and Buddhists.
Kyi underlined the importance of a Muslim country's aid distribution to Buddhists during the meeting.
