Turkish prefab exports worth of 100 million USD to U.S. army

A Turkish firm exports prefabricated units which are durable to any military conditions during given periods to many countries.

ANKARA- The firm has sold more than 100 million USD worth of prefab to the U.S. army since 2009.

CEO of Prekons, Ekin Cakilci, said Wednesday that prices of their products start from 2,500 USD per square meter. Cakilci said that the U.S. army uses unit products in Sudan, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Cakilci pointed that they can adjust their prefab units to any conditions and stated, "If the client wants, we can produce units which can be durable for nuclear explosions or armour piercing bullets."

Cakilci also expressed that they can add any communication devices to their units including antenna and aerial systems for increasing the distance between radiotelephones, scanning and alarm systems depending on the client's demand."

Cakilci stated that annually their exports is 45 million USD and said, "We export goods to many countries worth 45 million USD, however since 2009 exports only to U.S. was over 100 million USD."

Cakilci said that they also provide prefab units to French and British armies too.
