Turkey's biggest science center to be built in Ankara

Turkey's biggest science center will be built in capital province of Ankara.

ANKARA- The science center will be made possible by the Municipality of Ankara and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).
 
Ankara Mayor Melih Gokcek and Chairperson of TUBITAK Prof. Dr. Yucel Altunbasak on Monday signed a preliminary protocol in Ankara for the new science center.
 
TUBITAK have allocated 60 million Turkish liras for the science center in Ankara.
 
The science center will be located on a covered area of 30,000 square meters and an open area of 45,000 square meters.
 
The science center is expected to be built by the end of 2013.
