Turkey began importing crude oil from Iraq

Six Turkish trucks went to north of Iraq to get oil have returned to Turkey with full tanks on Thursday.

SIRNAK- Six trucks that earlier left for the north of Iraq returned to Turkey via Habur border gate safe and sound.

Following the formal procedures at the border gate, sample oil from the trucks was sent to Mersin Refinery.

Chairman of the executive board of Boraksan International Customs Clearance Transportation Company said that the importation contributed to region's economy widely.
