Turkey's year-end inflation forecast to be around 6.5 p.c.

Turkish Central Bank forecast on Thursday the year-end inflation around 6.5 percent in 2012.

ANKARA- Bank governor, Erdem Basci, said that the year-inflation would be 5.3 percent the lowest and 7.7 percent the highest.

"The year-end inflation will be around 5.3 percent in 2012," Basci told a press conference in Ankara.

Basci projected the year-end inflation in 2013 around 3.4 percent the lowest, 7 percent the highest and 5.2 percent the average.

The governor also said that the inflation would be stabilized around 5 percent in the medium term.
